Social programme: Visit to Lord's Bridge (Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory)

Wednesday 4 July, 14:30

This guided tour of the Lord’s Bridge observatory will be a fascinating visit to enhance your visit here in Cambridge. Lord’s Bridge is home to a number of large aperture synthesis radio telescopes, including the One-Mile Telescope, 5-km Ryle Telescope, and the Arcminute Microkelvin Imager. At Lord’s Bridge you will be given the opportunity to see a combination of historic as well as modern radio telescopes.

Logistics: Your lanyard will be marked "L" if you selected this option.  Please meet at the front of the Guildhall at 14:30 to get on the buses that will take you to the Lord's Bridge site.  The aim is to have everyone back in the city centre by 17:00.
