CHAT, a dedicated 0.7m Telescope for Exoplanets

The Chilean-Hungarian Automated Telescope (CHAT) is a 0.7m telescope, recently commissioned in Las Campanas Observatory/Chile. It is dedicated to delivering high-quality light curves of exoplanet hosting stars with the main purpose of confirming and characterizing exoplanets. The facility is fully automated from the nightly scheduling to the production of light curves, and has produced to date hundreds of follow-up light curves for candidates from the HATSouth survey which have aided in the discovery of tens of systems. In this poster we will describe the facility and showcase its performance and scientific results.
