There will also be 200 spaces available for posters.

Social Events

As part of your delegate package during your time here in Cambridge we include participation in one of our two social activities which will occur on Wednesday 04 July in the afternoon. During the registration process you'll be asked to select one from the following:

1)      Walking tour of the Cambridge Colleges

This tour provides you with a first-hand experience of what life is like inside a Cambridge College. The tour will offer a selection of Cambridge colleges. A chance to experience these magnificent buildings, their history as well as the chance to hear fascinating facts, stories and myths given by an experienced tour guide, is an opportunity that not many get the chance to participate in.

2)      Trip to Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory (MRAO) Lord’s Bridge

This guided tour of the Lord’s Bridge observatory would be a fascinating visit to enhance your visit here in Cambridge. Lord’s Bridge is home to a number of large aperture synthesis radio telescopes, including the One-Mile Telescope, 5-km Ryle Telescope, and the Arcminute Microkelvin Imager. At Lord’s Bridge you will be given the opportunity to see a combination of historic as well as modern radio telescopes.
